PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Set Speed CYPRES 2 can be set to activate between 13 and 150 meters per second vertical speed.
It must be turned on at the take-off location prior to boarding the aircraft. During the self-test, after displaying the “1”, the device will display the activation speed which is currently set. It will be a number between 13 and 150. The scale of the setting is meters per second.
If the set vertical speed is not reached during the descent, activation will occur at the Safety Activation Altitude of approximately 225 meters (750 ft) AGL if a vertical speed greater than 13 m/s is reached. The Safety Activation Altitude can be increased at the user-level by 9 steps of 200 ft increments.
Important: An altitude of 1,500 ft AGL must be exceeded before dropping. If not, the device will not be armed and will not activate.
